Where else does the Pause work?

The exact same pattern and detector, run on a basket of liquid, optionable names and commodity ETFs. Set your filters once and compare every ticker side by side. Win is measured from the next candle's open (no overnight hold). Data is 4-hour candles over the last ~2 years; we keep our own copy of every bar.

Timeframe 4-hour candles or one-day candles, same pattern
Type
Push
Next open vs entry: lower ≤ −0.05%, flat within ±0.05%, higher ≥ +0.05%; “doesn’t open lower” = flat or higher
Min avg volume trailing 20-day average daily shares — thin names make options not worth it
Win target 0.15% a win = peak from the open reaches this much

Tip: your ideal SPY setup is Clean + Strong push + Doesn’t open lower. Set those three and see who beats SPY. Watch the sample size (Setups) — a 100% on a handful of trades is noise.

Ranked by win rate. Median peak is the better money signal (how far the move runs). “Best hour” = which exit sold for more on the typical trade. Click a row to dig into that ticker below.
